How giving works, who processes payments, and what happens to your giving information.
Approved by Blessed Generation Church.
Version 0.1 · Effective date: To be confirmed
Giving is voluntary
Tithes, offerings and other gifts to Blessed Generation Church are voluntary.
How to give
Giving is by electronic funds transfer (EFT) directly to the church's bank account shown on the Give page. The app does not process payments, does not capture card details and does not create bank instructions.
Payment provider
No online payment provider is used at present. If online giving is introduced, these terms will be updated to name the provider before it is switched on.
Giving information
Giving records are treated as private. They are visible only to you and to the authorised finance personnel who need them for church records.
Corrections and refunds
A correction or refund policy, including how an incorrect gift is handled, must be approved by BGC before launch. Consumer protection and electronic transaction requirements should be reviewed as part of that approval.
Receipts and records
Where the church issues receipts or tax certificates, some giving records may need to be retained to meet legal and accounting obligations, even after an account is deleted.
Questions
Giving queries should be directed to the church office. Contact details are on the Legal Information page and are to be confirmed by BGC.
