Deleting your account
You can ask BGC to close your account and delete your personal information. Here is what that means.
What deletion means
You will no longer be able to sign in, and your profile and preferences are removed.
Your account and sign-in details, your name, the prayer and praise requests you sent, sermon notes in your account, child profiles you manage, salvation follow-up requests, your consent and communication choices, and your phone's notification registration.
Safety reports you sent are kept for safeguarding but are no longer linked to your account. Any giving records are kept for financial records with your name and email removed. A note that your account was deleted, with any reason you give below, is kept so the church can show your request was handled.
Saved devotionals and sermons, reading progress and devotional notes are kept only on this device and are not part of your account. Deleting the app removes them.
Account emails stop, and your phone stops receiving BGC notifications.
If you only want fewer messages, you can change your communication preferences instead of deleting your account.
